Planning

Film Opening Project:

Title of the film: Un[filtered]

Project Overview:

Distributor: BMZE Studios

Director: Maya Freitas

Producer: Evangeline Oppel

Editor: Zander Duncan

Main Actress: Brianna Aggoli

CONCEPT:

My film opening centers around a young social media influencer who lives a superficial life. The opening will be a psychological thriller that shows the side effects of social media, and the pressure on young teens/adults to feel like they have to preform and act a certain way in order to fit into society. Influencers seem to have a "perfect" life, but in the film, me and my project crew will peel back the layers and show the dark side of social media.

Music Video Planning:

Planning helped me turn a concept into a clear vision by thinking about the story, audience, shots, and roles. It was an important step in making sure the final video felt organized, meaningful, and true to the indie/alternative genre.

Planning Overview

  • Concept & Storyline:

-Focused on growing up, nostalgia, and emotional disconnection

-Story told through visuals rather than dialogue

  • Target Audience:

-Teenagers and young adults

-
Indie and alternative music fans

-Audience positioned to emotionally relate to the character

  • Group Roles:

-My role focused on editing and post-production

-Clear responsibilities for directing, filming, and editing

-Mood-based narrative instead of a performance-focused video
