My Role: 

    As the producer, I oversee how the film opening is being executed and ensure that the overall vision stays true throughout the filming process. I was a major contributor to writing the script, helping to shape the narrative and video composition. I worked with the director, Maya Freitas, to discuss how certain scenes should be captured.

    I also worked with the editor to ensure that the pacing matched the genre. For example, I suggested certain transitions in order to achieve continuity, along with a series of montages to create the films narrative. I also helped arrange things like filming times and filming locations. I helped manage time during production to ensure we stayed on schedule and completed all planned shots.

Overall, my role as producer required leadership, organization, and a lot of creative input. I made sure that the film opening still aligned with our target audience- while also keeping a professional final product!
